Expecting arm wrenching power , we were impressed with the power delivery and throttle response of the YZ450F . You could set up two very dramatically different power settings and swap between them , which a few years ago would have taken significant engine changes , now it ’ s at your fingertips . It ’ s balanced , very planted , with a nice rider triangle giving plenty of room with ergo ’ s that make it easy to move around . It has the ability to take on a wide range of riding straight out of the box . An awesome bike to ride , with great handling and lots of power , which can be mellowed out a little using the electronics .
