superior to the old bike , which had a tendency to put your legs in a position akin to someone who had just shat themselves and was waddling to the nearest loo .
ELECTRONICS Electronics are another giant leap forward , with the new bike benefitting from a ride-by-wire throttle , plus debuting the all-new Tripper TFT dash . The RBW throttle allows two rider modes which can both have rear ABS switched off to essentially give four different riding experiences . Performance mode offers the full 40hp / 40Nm of power , while eco mode dramatically softens power delivery up to 4th gear . As mentioned earlier , in a smart move , Royal Enfield has ensured the longevity of the Tripper Dash by enabling it to be updated as technology progresses .
SUSPENSION The suspension of the 411 was pretty basic stuff , so it is fair to say the 450 is much better equipped with the front end scoring a 43mm USD Showa SFF fork while the rear shock is mounted almost horizontally thanks to a very trick linkage which helps keep ground clearance to the max . That GC is a claimed 230mm while wheel travel is a claimed 200mm at both ends . ERGONOMICS With both financial and physical accessibility always at the front of mind for the RE team , careful attention was paid to make sure the 450 would suit a wide range of riders . Along with the all-new frame comes an adjustable seat height as standard . This can be easily adjusted through two positions and shifting the seat height by
