fourth instruction, the damp paper jammed and broke while trying to pull it forward, making it unreadable. That briefly left me relying on following my mate Larry until I could sort things out again. Fortunately, with both the GPS and phone tracking app also running, there was never much danger of getting properly lost. In many ways it summed up the KR350 perfectly— part old-school adventure riding, part modern technology, and still very much built around the same spirit of exploring New Zealand’ s backroads with a good bunch of mates.
