And, worse, depending on how I positioned my foot, the brake lever tip would randomly fold, and slip past the peg, jamming the brake on mid-ride, which made it genuinely horrible to control. I had to nurse the bike like that for roughly an hour and a half, all the way to the service point, losing around four minutes just getting there.
