FEBVRE SEES RED

The 2025 MXGP Champion, and currently running second this season, Romain Febvre has signed on with Red Bull Ducati Factory MXGP Team for 2027 and 2028. Febvre, a twotime winner of the title, will be racing the Ducati Desmo450 MX and trying to add more wins to his stunning career. The 34 year-old Frenchman won in 2025 and prior to that, took the crown in 2015, so has been right at the top for a long time and has no intentions of slowing down any time soon. Currently second in the standings, there is still a long way to go but in motocross, anything can happen and it often does. The gap to the leader is huge but there are GP wins up for grabs and you never back off until the final flag of the final race in the final round. Add to that list two second placings in MXGP title fights, four MXoN titles, his 26 Grand Prix wins and no less than 97 podiums and you can see why Ducati were keen to get his autograph on that piece of paper. For Febvre, the success Ducati has seen since committing to the category and their ability to tap into their MotoGP and WSBK technology means he has joined the team at an exciting phase. Bring on 2027.
