THE UPGRADES This particular bike has been tuned and upgraded in all the right places. Starting with the engine, there are airflow upgrades in the form of a high-flow foam air filter and pre-filter combo, perfect for keeping the dust out from the gravel roads and riverbeds of Otago and Canterbury. On the exhaust side, a full titanium system not only shed a lot of weight but also delivers a throaty bark that brings the twocylinder engine to life. Performance wizard Brett Roberts in Paeroa worked his magic on the dyno to make it all work together, smoothing out the throttle response and beefing up the midrange torque.
