KTM BACK WITH CLEAN, GREEN TWO-STROKE
It took some time and negotiations but as of late July, KTM is manufacturing five days a week, returning to fulltime production after a challenging year. That restart began with the 2026 dirt range and then shortly the road side will be back in full production. KTM AG’ s CEO Gottfried Neumeister extended his thanks to the loyal workforce who stuck with the brand through the challenging phase, also the dealers, who also faced a tough period.
The dirt range sees a few models change their label, as in the two-strokes, other than the 300, now being called XC-W rather than EXC. The 300 retains the EXC moniker to differentiate the only Euro5 + homologated two-stroke, which opens a bunch of doors for the twostroke lovers out there, and let’ s face it – who isn’ t? Yes, the impossible has happened. A two-stroke that runs so clean, you could say tangerine is the new green.
The full lineup is in production now … Suspension upgrades with some very trick and light components lurking within adorn the entire range and the bicomposite( stop it) graphics are brighter than ever and there are flashes of inmould colour that is more than skin deep, making the 2026 models pop.
