Continental GT 650 made by Royal Enfield,“ It’ s all about more smiles per mile.” And for me the Scrambler just hits the right spot. I have owned and toured a Triumph 865 Scrambler up and down the country. It has got tyre, seat and suspension upgrades and was a good bike, but very heavy. I loved two days aboard a 1901 Rentals’ Bear 650 but this BSA is some 9kg lighter but it feels much more than that. And, for this old guy, lower weight is important. It just feels like a bigger version of my own 411 Himalayan( my daily transport). I’ m not looking for a touring bike, or a classic trials BSA, and was looking at the Bear 650 as the new‘ King of Cool’ bike to own in the future. But BSA has hit a home run with this thumper.
