APRILIA REIGNS IN ROMANIA
Jacopo Cerutti not only dominated in the FIM
5 Class – as in the multi-cylinder adventure bikes, but he also took the overall victory in the Ro Rally Marathon. The seven-day ordeal had over 1800km of special stages and was held in the searing heat that Europe has been experiencing, making it even tougher on both man and machine. Making the final day even sweeter for Aprilia Tuareg Racing was Marco Menichini taking second overall, and in the FIM 5 class, Aprilia took a podium sweep as Francesco Montanari claimed third in class. Cerutti’ s biggest challenge came from Menichini, who was in great form, taking Stage 4 ahead of his teammate but every other stage belonged to Cerutti, stamping his dominance on the class. All-in-all, the perfect buildup to the season’ s main target for the FIM 5 category, the Africa Eco Race 2026.
