IS IT BORING ? So , is the 6 1 / 2 boring ? No . Anything but . It behaves like a very smart DOHC , 60 horse , 650 twin should , with linear acceleration , a smooth and highly acceptable cruising feel at speed limits and beyond , and a truly lovely collected feel in cornering . It ’ s live , and rewards input . Is it a racer ? No . Is it a cruiser ? No . Is it a tourer ? No , not at all , and yet all of that would be achievable . Is it zippy ? Yes , and compact . It ’ s similar in ride behaviour to the V7 Moto Guzzi without that horizontal ‘ blip ’ that a transverse twin imparts . Round town it ’ s a real treat to ride , easy , ergonomically accurate , and it fits a zappy city / lane splitting / weekend ride format . The ride position is somewhat ‘ café racer ’ with some minimal knee bending on to the pegs , and a slight reach forward to the black bars and levers – another nice styling touch . It ’ s also reasonably wide at 890mm , with a 16 litre fuel tank , and will accommodate most riders with a lowish 810mm seat height . The bike belies its weight , it feels light and nimble , almost like a 250 , but it weighs in at around 210kg . Bluetooth
