As always there are limited spaces available to take part , with KTM only offering spaces for 120 riders of KTM Adventure machines at the outset . However , this has been increased to a total of 150 riders off the back of the huge demand for the event – the largest KTM New Zealand Adventure Rallye to date . If you missed out on the first rush there is a wait list to get a chance at taking part in this year ’ s Rallye , but it is “ astronomically long ” according to KTM ’ s Australasian marketing head , Rosie Lalonde . Clearly the New Zealand Orange Army has the passion and desire to get out on their bikes and see the country . KTM ’ s next challenge will be accommodating their future events to meet the demand .
