HUNTER BACK IN FORM
After a crash and a resulting wrist injury,
Hunter Lawrence struggled over the last couple of rounds with, by his standards, sup-par performances. At the latest outing in Nashville, he promptly made amends. A minor blip in the first race did see him almost off but the Aussie regained his composure, hunted( had to, sorry) down the leaders one by one and when ready, passed cleanly. From there, it was a clean set of heels as he showed pace that broke the chase, finishing seven seconds clear, and looked like he was cruising at the end. A good day at the office for the young Australian sees him no longer sharing the lead. That red plate is on his bike and watching his latest round, it will take something special to loosen his grip. Meanwhile, brother Jett is still watching from the sidelines but the duo spent a bunch of time signing stuff, chatting and just engaging with their ever-growing legion of fans – a sponsors’ dream. Fame hasn’ t changed the Aussie lads..
