MOTO MORINI
Moto Morini Hard Luggage / Hand Guard Installation and Use
X-CAPE
I
’ ve had the Moto Morini since the end of last year and have been using it as our photo bike , my go-to for carting all of my camera gear to photoshoots of our test bikes . The first few accessories turned up at the office last month ; some bits that I was looking forward to fitting which would extend the bikes touring capabilities , and its camera-hauling ability . First up was a shiny set of Moto Morini-branded aluminium hard panniers and topbox , along with all the mounting hardware . Also included in the delivery was a set Moto Morini-branded hand guards . With all the goodies I made my way to tester Jock ’ s workshop for an afternoon of fitting .
MOTO MORINI HARD LUGGAGE The panniers and top box look good , with the company logo stamped into the metal work . They seem pretty well made with reinforced corners and some strap-down bars to help with attaching extra gear . We set about mounting the pannier racks , but it did require a fair bit of guesswork , as there were no fitting instructions included in the package . Common sense mostly prevailed and , with a little persuasion , the pannier mounting racks and topbox mounting plate were successfully bolted to the bike . The boxes themselves fitted easily and feel solid and are all locked and secured with one key .
