CFMOTO 800MT EXPLORE CONFIRMED FOR NZ

After launching the brand ’ s 800MT Touring into the New Zealand market last year , CFMOTO looks set to introduce an even more adventure-ready option later this year . The 800MT is already one of the best-value adventure bikes on the market with its KTM LC8c powerplant , loaded amenities and jaw-dropping price of just $ 15,590 . With that said , there was room for improvements , particularly when it came to electronic aids and the forthcoming 800MT Explore aims to fill in the gaps . With the 800MT Touring shipping with only ABS braking , the Explore edition adds further help to keep the 231kg adventure tourer upright in the form of Traction Control . It appears CFMOTO has listened to the market when it comes to the ABS system for both the Touring and Explore versions with new specs noting that the bikes have switchable cornering ABS rather than the non-switchable system the 800MT debuted with . As part of the tech update , the

800MT Explore also gets a new 8-inch TFT dash and expands upon the two rider modes of the 800MT touring to six modes which all link in with the traction control system . The new dash also expands phone connectivity to include Apple Carplay and Android Auto . Mojo Motorcycles , CFMOTO ’ s New Zealand distributor , has confirmed the new 800MT Explore will be joining the New Zealand lineup in the second half of 2023 with pricing and final spec to be confirmed closer to arrival .
