However , things fell apart for the Spaniard in the second Moto where sixth was his ranking following a small , but crucial mistake . While his misfortune in Moto 2 cost him the round , he maintained third overall at the Grand Prix which ensured that he maintained his grip on the red plate . Extending his lead by five points , Prado sits seven points ahead moving into the third round of MXGP 2023 . “ I think that the start of the year has been very good for me . I am quite happy ! It was a pity to not have a good start in the second moto – I just lost my rhythm . I came back and regrouped a little bit at the end of the moto . It was not too bad . We have the red plate and I am very happy about that .” The next MXGP round heads to Switzerland on the weekend of April 8 where Frauenfeld will host the Grand Prix of Switzerland .
