DIRT NEWS

450SX GIDDY-UP he Cowboy’ aka Aaron Plessinger made

‘ Tuse of his mud riding abilities in a soaked Foxborough round of the the 2025 AMA 450SX season. The‘ Cowboy’ was third in qualifying and backed that up with a strong second in the opening race. As the main event loomed, the clouds burst and the race went to a shortened lap count that was still going to be tough going. A good start and patience saw him take the lead early in the proceedings and he tried to“ cruise it in, but it wasn’ t an easy cruise by any means. It was tough but I had a lot of fun! I’ m stoked for the team, who never stopped believing in me even when things were tough at the beginning of the season. I can’ t thank them enough for that.” That‘ cruise’ saw him cross the line 25 seconds ahead of the rest of the mud-soaked field. A‘ yeeha’ of a round that sees Plessinger climb to seventh and get that bit closer to the frontrunners early in the season, well aware that one round can’ t win the season but it can lose it.

ENDUROGP 2025 KICKS OFF IN PORTUGAL

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’ s Josep Garcia has impressed his team and fans by dominating the opening round in the Enduro1 class( 250cc) and also winning the Day One EnduroGP overall and coming third on Day Two against the bigger machines. Just a month out from surgery and concerned about fitness in his newly repaired shoulder, the Spaniard was understandably thrilled to find form so soon after surgery. He did struggle a bit with pain in that shoulder on the second day but gritted his teeth and kept it as tidy as possible to nurse a tired shoulder to a second podium for the weekend. The next round will be held, literally, an hour from his home, on familiar terrain, so he’ s optimistic about backing that up with another strong round in Spain.
