I believe we want an experience that fulfils all the
functions but one that we still get to come home
from; stow the helmet, kiss the partner and play
with the kids or hang at the café
Look I’m a Triumph aficionado – I’m
nailing my colours to the mast folks
– I love my Thruxton. But I am not
so blinkered that I can see no other,
far from it. But what I have with my
own Triumph is a long-term liveable
answer to my motorcycling needs.
It’s fast, enough. It’s noisy, enough.
It’s comfortable, enough. It looks
sensational, enough. It stops, brilliantly.
But I occasionally want mad thrill.
Hell, I sometimes want batshit crazy!
But I don’t want to live with crazy on
a daily basis. At the end of the day I
believe we want an experience that
fulfils all the functions but one that
we still get to come home from; stow
the helmet, kiss the partner and play
with the kids or hang at the café.
Without fear, cost, or healing time.
