Beta 300 4T NEW BETA TRIALS BIKES F ollowing on from the enduro models we brought you last month, Beta has announced its lineup of trials machines for the New Zealand market in 2020. The 2020 Evo range boasts revised ergonomics while also building upon the performance and reliability of the outgoing bikes. Development for the new Evo range has come from experience gained from competition, with this year’s Beta Factory Team helping to transfer their preferences and technological know-how to the new Trial range. The aim, Beta says, is to provide a platform which both amateurs and professionals can get access to Trials bike technology. Available in both two-stroke and four-stroke versions, Beta New Zealand will be offering bikes in the 125, 250 and 300cc categories with Factory variants set to be announced this month. The chassis of the 2020 Evos has been completely revised, with plenty of new style 96 KIWI RIDER adorning the hydroformed aluminium chassis. Along with new styling elements such as a new headlight cowling and anodised parts, Beta has also revised the suspension using the experience they gained with the 2019 Factory version. The fork hydraulics have been designed to be even more progressive for 2020 and also introduces the ability for owners to fit a compression adjuster kit – which comes already fitted to the Factory series. Engine-wise, the 2020 Beta Evo range builds upon the major updates found in this year’s models with revised and optimised engine timing advance curves in order to improve engine responsiveness and make the bike easier to ride at any revs. Beta New Zealand will be holding Demo days from November 3 to December 8 in select areas of the country.
