In 1996 the club hosted the World International
Rally with a week of activities based around the
lower North Island for the 200 guests (98 from
overseas), including an adventure ride across the
Pylon Tracks of the Wellington region, trips to
Thompson Museum, Mt Bruce Bird Sanctuary,
DC3 Charter to Blenheim Wine Trail, a concours
lineup at Southwards, plus a dinner/dance and
international delegates meeting.
Our sister club in Canterbury hosted the 2010
International Rally and each year the National
Triumph Trident T150V 1974 – last triple model imported by
Triumph Importer Coleman’s of Wanganui

Rally is shared between Auckland BSA Branch,
Wellington Branch, or the Canterbury or Otago
Clubs. In 2020 the rally is at the Sixtus Lodge,
Manawatu on March 7-8.
In November the BSA Club will host another
Kickback MC Show at the Upper Hutt Civic Hall
(now called Expressions Whirinaki). All owners
of classic bikes, projects, machines of interest
