the handling is agile and confidence-inspiring. The overall feel is of being light and manageable, with the chassis exuding a reliable and trustworthy feel. In general the suspension is plush, but still firm with a very controlled and comfortable reaction to most everything the tracks could throw at it. The CRF250R has certainly got a the chassis package completely nailed. As has been the case for many years the 250R’s ergonomics are superb. It’s slim, comfortable, nothing catches on your gear, and the new footpegs are super grippy too. Overall, it feels roomy without being large and yet small without feeling cramped – it’s great, end of story. Nissin brakes control the stopping and are faultless. At both ends the stopping is powerful and very easy the modulate. It’s controlled stopping with excellent feel and perfect ease of use on all surfaces from truly slippery to hard packed. The CRF250R is an excellent bike and a terrific package. The build quality is superb. The engine performance is right there… if not quite class leading.
