t’s always a great start to the week
when you stumble upon a heap of shiny
new metal destined for New Zealand
dealerships, and that was the case for
us earlier this month when we spotted the
brand new Triumph Scrambler 1200 being
prepared for shipment around the country
from Triumph Motorcycles NZ HQ.
The new king of the scrambler class isn’t
the only new Triumph to have made its way
to our shores finally, though. The all-new
Speed Twin has also made landfall and is
also now available for test rides at your local
dealership.
Due to the favourable NZ dollar to GBP
at the moment, pricing is currently better
than expected with the top of the range
Scrambler 1200, the XE, priced from $24,490
while the Speed Twin enters the market at a
sharp $21,990.
Both bikes will shortly be officially launched
to the New Zealand motoring media, and
Kiwi Rider will be there to give you first
impressions of how the two new Triumphs
handle our unique environment.
