modern bikes amongst the classic Twin Shocks . The drizzle had made many of the logs and tree roots extremely slippery , so much so that maximum points were lost in some sections . Longish sections proved to sap the concentration and navigation skills and the slimy mud caught everyone out several times . It wasn ’ t deep , but it was dragged onto the logs and tree roots and you probably know what happened next ... Kelvin Bishop succumbed to a log crossing and , although not broken , was very sore . I maxed out on Section Four , which had
at least four log crossings and a slippery exit . I cleaned every component of every section on various laps , which shows that concentration and physical fitness played its part and that they weren ’ t particularly difficult given that my skills are way below the many there . The results have been hidden in the recesses of the muddy sections and will probably never be known , but with 38 points lost I am sure I am way down the trophy list or in reality , not even on the list . But we were only there for the fun and challenge ... except the yellow TY
