ANSTEY WINS AGAIN K iwi racing hero Bruce Anstey is on winning form once more, showing the world he still has the pace to top the time sheets. The setting for his recent crop of podiums was the Ulster GP road races at Dundrod, Northern Ireland, which took place from August 6-12. With an average lap speed of 134.089mph (215.795km/h), the Ulster GP is billed as the ‘World’s Fastest Road Race’. Sitting at fourth place in the overall winners’ list, Anstey had 12 wins heading into the 2017 races. The Kiwi took the top step in both the Lightweight and first Superbike races, taking his tally of race wins to 14 – putting him equal third with Northern Irish racing legend Phillip McCallan. Anstey also took second in both the first and second Supersport races. Anstey’s Superbike win gave the Padgetts team its first win aboard the Honda RC213V-S.
