one .
on road , and also try it out on the racetrack . With all the vents open , there ’ s a huge amount of cooling – where I ’ d been sweating profusely sitting in the sun waiting for a set of lights to change , my head was cold shortly after starting moving again - I ’ m not gonna complain about that . I find that cheap helmets have terrible venting – they often barely work . Arai ’ s venting works . Period . As a track helmet the Quantic works too . The spoiler at the rear prevents turbulence when your head is tucked down onto the tank – and that flip-up visor works well . I ’ m definitely a fan of the new system .
THE LOWDOWN I spend hours and hours on the bike when I ride .
The inside of the Quantic is a good place to be . It ’ s safe – it meets the newest regulations ( ECE R22-06 ), which is nice . It ’ s comfortable , pretty quiet and I love the new visor flip-up thingy . It works on the road and it works on the track , in winter and summer . And even better – the colour scheme of mine is called Ray White . Should have been called the Mike Pero … seems like the NZ Arai importer missed a trick with real estate sponsorship opportunities on that
