rolling down my cheek , I snipped the cables leading to both indicators and the number plate light and the whole factory tail assembly came away cleanly . My top tip is to label each set of wires before you snip them , that way you don ’ t need to work out which indicators you ’ re wiring up . The Melotti kit didn ’ t come with any instructions , however with some technical nouse , anyone with a shed and some basic tools should be able to line up the bolt holes and put this kit together . The new LED indicators did require soldering and shrink wrapping , however this job is made easier given the length of wire that is supplied attached to the indicators and number plate light . Finally , some cable ties to tidy up all the excess wire , and tuck it all away nicely , cowlings and seats back on . My next tip is to take photos of each step , so when you find yourself with random bolts left over , you ’ ll know where they go .
