This is a genuinely pretty quick machine and a true novice will need to ensure his or her enthusiasm doesn ’ t exceed their skill level . There is a jolly big difference in the 14-ish horse power XL125 on which I got my licence and this 50-ish-hp machine ! A wise old hand once told me the throttle goes both ways and it ’ s an important thing to remember . But , no doubt about it , this 660 LAMS has a decent engine and happily the chassis package is more than competent enough to keep everything rubber side down .
