IT ’ S LOOKING TO BE DUCATI ’ S YEAR IN MOTOGP

With just one race to go , it ’ s looking to be Ducati ’ s year with the company wrapping up the Constructor ’ s championship title thanks to another win by series leader , Francesco Bagnaia at Malaysia ’ s Sepang circuit . While the Rider ’ s Championship could still go to either Bagnaia or Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo , who trails Bagnaia by 23 points , Ducati has reason to make space in the trophy cabinet - as only finishing outside the Top 14 in Spain could see Bagnaia lose what would be his first world title in the premier class . Ninth at the start , the rider from Turin was the protagonist of an incredible start , which saw him taking second place already at the first corner , behind fellow Ducati rider Jorge Martin . On lap seven , however , the Pramac Racing Team rider fell , leaving the race lead to Bagnaia , who then had to hold off a fierce Enea Bastianini .
