The YZ250FX also gets the full makeover for 2025 , but as with the WR it wasn ’ t available to ride on the day . On paper it looks the goods and , after clinching the US GNCC title , this was the bike I was most excited about riding . Chassis , engine , ergo ’ s and suspension changes should make this model even better so keep an eye out for it in these pages when we get the chance .
Notable Upgrades :

• Revised suspension components including tool-less front suspension compression damping adjusters
• Smaller PVC plastic handlebar pad
• Flatter , more narrow body design eases rider movement and updated ergonomics offer increased legroom and comfort
• New airflow management design , including shrouds ( 50mm narrower ), seat , airbox and air filter
• New three-level selectable Traction Control System controlled through the revised Power Tuner App maintains ideal rear wheel traction
• Two-mode adjustable engine mapping allows on-the-fly selection between two maps via new handlebar-mounted push-button switchgear
