TRANS TASMAN CHALLENGE ON AND OFF TRACK

One of the most exciting developments in the NZ road racing scene for quite some time , this summer sees the old foe from across the ditch take on the best Kiwis to see who really is the best in Australasia at the inaugural Star Insure Trans Tasman Challenge - MotoFest , at Hampton Downs on March 8-9 , and MotoMania , at Taupo Motorsport Park on March 15-16 . With around half a dozen of ‘ Straya ’ s ’ best heading over , there is more to this season than lobbing bad jokes over the fence . Three-time GP winner , Daryl Beattie , will be sparring and utilising his ambassador role with our very own WSBK star , Aaron Slight , and commentating at the events , along with Graeme Crosby , which is sure to add to the ‘ friendly ’ rivalry on ( and off ) the track .
