Kawasaki’ s junior range is pretty extensive, so when KR was offered the opportunity to test the whole range our junior testers all put their hands up. Keeping up with who was riding what and when was one thing, but getting them off the bikes was something else altogether...

If you were looking for a great trail riding bike the KLX110 is good through mud, comfortable and super easy to ride. But there are two options – there is one with a clutch and one without. Today I rode the KLX with a clutch. The 110 is good for having the convenience of a clutch – it’ s right there if the engine feels like it’ s going to stop. The electric start comes in handy for if you’ re on the farm or trail riding with your mates. It’ s so easy to touch the ground on, a seven or eight year old can ride it. The 110 would be good as a muck-around bike or for trail riding and going down the farm. Both of the bikes coped well in the mud today. Over all the KLX is a great bike for any kid. ASHTON WHYTE
