KING JOINS HELICRAFT RACING
18 year-old Tyler King had a superb summer, to put it mildly. Racing in three classes is no mean feat but to stand on the podium 13 times in a single round, over three classes, well, the work ethic is undisputable. Taking over from where Seth Devereaux has helped develop the beautiful MV Agusta F3 800( Seth is out of action due to injury), Tyler was an obvious choice for the Helicraft Race Team. Team principal, Rod Price was impressed with the youngster ' s mature approach and, after a session getting used to the new bike, is confident that the results will come this season. King was pleasantly surprised how easily he adapted to the bike, which is beautifully presented and meticulously sorted. Competing on both sides of the Tasman, King is a frontrunner in the 300 Supersport class in Australia and the 600 class here in NZ, will keep King busy but Price has no doubt he will cope, calling Tyler King“ the hottest young prospect in NZ right now”, watch out for the wailing triple as the season unfolds. Also, if you haven’ t seen any of the 300 Supersport races from across the ditch, go online and have a look. Great racing and a bunch of Kiwis making the local Australians work hard every inch of the way to the finish line.
