Mitch Rees has confirmed what many were thinking, he is racing the TT and a few other events building up to the demanding event. With the likes of Peter Hickman and Davey Todd coming here to race, Mitch heading over to watch last year and the friendships that have grown from that experience, the IOMTT rumour has been around for a while. Rees will be riding for a familiar name as well, as in Padgetts, who were long-time sponsors of IOMTT absolute legend, Bruce Anstey. While he knows the first foray is a learning experience, with a team that has had so much success, it does mean Mitch can be confident in his team and focus on the daunting task at hand. Building up to the TT, where he will compete in Superstock and Superbike classes, the Whakatane motorcycle dealer will be doing a couple of BSB rounds in Superstock, as well as the Northwest 200.
