H usqvarna is taking the challenge of electromobility seriously with the unveiling of its next batch of electric two-wheelers following last month ’ s E-Pilen concept . Husqvarna says the Vektorr Concept is the first electric scooter ever produced by the company and is aimed squarely at the urban commuter . The target audience is stated as a rider who wants something that is not only compact and functional , but also a stylish vehicle that will fit in with a busy lifestyle . Styled and ridden like a conventional mopedclass scooter , the Vektorr Concept will deliver a top speed of 45km / h and offer a range of up to 95km . The Vektorr shares styling cues with the E-Pilen as well as Husqvarna ’ s yet to be released Norden 901 concept with a large circular headlight , smooth bodywork and the firm ’ s signature colour combination of white , black and fluorescent yellow . In addition to the Vektorr and E-Pilen , Husqvarna has also shown off its Blitz ( controversial name from an Austrian owned company ?) stand up e-scooter which aims to become a personal option similar to the popular Lime ( et al ) scooters we see dumped on side streets in our major centres . Similar to other stand up scooters on the market , Husqvarna ’ s Blitz has a top speed of 20km / h with propulsion provided by a 0.5kW electric motor , lighting provided by an LED and an overall simple design . Both concepts are currently being displayed at the PIERER Mobility AG special exhibition in the KTM Motohall in Mattighofen , Austria . Husqvarna says that the development of its E-Mobility range is well-advanced , with the company now actively searching for qualified dealers in large metropolitan areas in Europe , focusing on Spain , France , Italy and Germany . No word on if or when these might show up in the New Zealand market , but we can definitely see a place for the Vektorr and Blitz here .
