THE FOUR-STROKES When it comes to the four-stroke SX-F range , they all share the same core chassis . That means a combination of aluminium swingarm matched to a central double-cradle-type steel frame . The important stats being a seat height of 950mm , 370mm of ground clearance , 1485mm wheelbase and 63.9 degree steering head angle . All feature a 7-litre fuel tank and the same 48mm XACT 48 WP-USD fork and
XACT WP-Monoshock with linkage suspension combo and the same Brembo supplied 260 / 240mm disc brake systems . The entry to the 2022 four-stroke range is the 250 SX-F , which tips the scales at 99kg without fuel according to KTM , followed by the 350 SX-F and 450 SX-F , the latter weighing in at a slightly heavier 99.5 and 100kg respectively . Both the 250 and 350 SX-F benefit from dual overhead camshafts and titanium valves while the 450 goes for a compact single overhead cam design . All make use of a KEIHIN engine management system with 44mm throttle body with rider maps and traction control settings controlled by a multifunctional switch on the left handlebar . The switch allows riders to set the traction control , launch control and power map at the gate without the need to plug in with the optional controller .
