he latest KTM to wear the Duke
name is heading into dealers.
The 790 Duke features an all-
new parallel-twin engine, a first
for the historically single-cylinder
model and a first for KTM.
Powered by the all-new LC8c engine,
the new Duke is KTM’s first parallel-twin
cylinder powerplant and it punches out
an impressive 105hp (78kW) and 87Nm
from its 799cc. We reckon the Duke has
been crying out for a two-cylinder engine
for years and this new motor should
make it appeal to a wider audience.
As with most bikes from KTM, the new Duke
is armed with a comprehensive array of
electronic rider assistance systems, including
12 KIWI RIDER
