HIGH FIVE FROM BOLT
Billy Bolt has , with a round to spare , secured his fifth SuperEnduro World Championship title in a row . The Husqvarna 350 rider had another clean sweep of Superpole and three wins in the UK round but he was made to work hard for it by Johnny Walker , who battled hard before Bolt did what he does and ‘ bolted ’ to the win - again . To add spice to the racing , the second race at each round is reverse grid . The tight and technical nature of the sort and its indoor venues makes for tight racing and amazing passes and strategies to get through the entire field of talented riders . Hard for the competitors but an absolute fan favourite , it is as close to a game of bullrush on motorcycles as you ’ re likely to be allowed to run . Bolt headed into the final round in France determined that it would be racing as usual , despite the gold # 1 plate suggesting he had nothing to prove . Winning the Superpole again , Bolt dominated and won the series by an astonishing 116 points on 429 , with Johnny Walker ( Triumph ) his closest rival on 313 ahead of the Brightmore brothers , Ashton and Mitch , in that order . To put Bolt ’ s season into perspective , here are a few stats . Out of the seven rounds , Bolt won all seven .
