My advice would be to drive the Husky out of slippery turns fairly straight , then no worries and happy days . Because – this thing on the pipe on gravel is bloody quick and exciting ! So , to address my earlier thoughts . Not having the front tank does improve ergonomics , but fuel range is reduced . It ’ s horses for courses , I guess . The main frame is a tried-and-true chromoly steel tube trellis design with the rear subframe being polyamide incorporating the fuel tank . The dash is LCD with a clear layout that nicely shows all relevant information .
ADVENTURE BIKE FOR NZ CONDITIONS The Husky 701 Enduro would make an excellent Adventure bike for NZ conditions . The lightweight and powerful engine combined with the excellent chassis make this machine ( and its GasGas and KTM stablemates ...) the most competent hardcore true exploring bike for NZ . It is kinda like an Adventure race bike ... quick on road , quick off road and very quick on gravel . The Husqvarna 701 Enduro has the bases covered . The standard 21 / 18 TKC 80 tyres allow a broad spectrum of riding straight from the box too . What more can you ask for ? Not much . Buy and ride – where ever and where the road less traveled takes you .
