The rear is a solid performer too , with great strength and feel from the 240mm disc and single piston Brembo caliper . ABS intervention was sensibly calibrated . Although I will never be a fan of ABS off-road , both front and rear stopping even on gravel was okay with ABS on . In Enduro mode with rear ABS off and front on , but with reduced intervention stopping confidence at decent speeds was great on gravel . It can be fully turned off for those who like to have complete control of their braking in dirt or gravel conditions . Two things that really make this bike standout as an Adventure machine for NZ conditions are its light weight and great suspension for genuine off-road use . Sure , it is not a dirt bike or road bike , but when compared to 200kgplus Adventure machines or 100kg dirtbikes - it is a winning compromise . Quality WP suspension components play their part here and they provide an excellent 250mm of wheel travel . The forks are XPLOR open cartridge separate function 48mm USD items that are fully adjustable , likewise the XPLOR shock is fully adjustable . Ground clearance is 270mm .
