should tip the scales at just over the 200kg point with a tank of fuel , engine oil , fork oil etc . This weight puts it around 7kg lighter than Yamaha ’ s Tenere 700 and about 15kg heavier than KTM ’ s single-cylinder 390 Adventure . It ’ s certainly not heavy for a parallel twin adventure machine , but it ’ s not light either . Brakes are by Spanish brake manufacturer J . Juan , which is a Spanish brake specialist that was bought by Brembo a few years ago . There ’ s a single 320mm disc and four-piston caliper up front and a 240mm disc and single piston caliper at the rear . The ABS is a two-channel system by Bosch with very handy switch on the left bar to turn rear ABS on and off . The traction control can be turned off via the 5-inch TFT display . There ’ s no lean sensitive braking or traction control , but , honestly , what do you expect for less than $ 10k ? Premium Japanese suspension manufacturer KYB supplies the suspension at the front and rear . There ’ s a decent 200mm of travel at both ends . The inverted front fork has adjustment for spring preload , rebound and compression damping . A single shock at the rear has spring preload and rebound adjustment . An external reservoir should help the shock keep its damping performance when riding off-road .
STANDARD KIT AND ACCESSORIES Fully featured out of the crate , the bike comes with wraparound handguards , foldable mirrors and bashplate . It ’ s also fitted with tubeless spoked wheels and tyres . Tyres are by ‘ CST ’, a brand unknown to me , but they worked just fine for larking about on dry roads and in the gravel . There ’ s a boat-load of accessories available , including high front fender , upper and lower crash bars , tank bag , soft or aluminium panniers , topbox , taller screen , spotlights , taller seat and more - basically , most of the farkles you might think of .
