reflect on what has happened in the past twenty-odd years . As the 20th century came to an end , motorcycle magazines around the world were anxious to elect their choice for bike of the century .
A collection of the chosen machines was put together and published at the time . It was obvious that machines made after 1980 were not considered classics . The 1969 Honda CB750 was a clear winner followed by the 650 Triumph Bonneville , next came a 1973 Kawasaki 900 Z1 , and Yamaha RD350 / 400 . Three Japanese
