+ Nostalgic , simple riding with modern ease of use

– Nothing if the ‘ plus ’ is right for you

I ’ m sure you want to know why I bought a 350 . Well , I get to look at the scenery , ‘ smell the roses ’ as they say . I enjoy the simplicity of a single-cylinder ‘ thumper ’, I ’ m keeping active in my retirement but am slowing down and I no longer have the physical strength to hold up , or pick up , a large capacity bike ( e . g heavy ). Some people might say there is no re-sale value on a Royal Enfield to which I say , I didn ’ t buy it for re-sale , I bought it to ride it .
The Bullet 350 was first introduced in 1932 and is the longest running motorcycle model still in production . In 1955 , CKD assembly was underway in India for the Army Contract and back in the UK they introduced the all maroon Bullet , that in 1956 accepted chrome panels to the fuel tank . So yes , with all that history , when I climb on my 350 I do feel a gush of nostalgia . There will be others who prefer the Hunter , Meteor or Classic 350s , but it really doesn ’ t matter , we ’ re having fun . Come and join us .
