brake lever snagged my boot every time , as the sportier ergonomics made my over-width feet want to tuck in close and point inwards , so I used the main body of the lever , rather than the rubberised section sticking out where , maybe , your feet would be searching . Maybe . Easy swap for another lever if not .
So ...? So . If I was looking for a non-threatening , mild mannered and civilised ride with just that sneaky nod to my misspent youth , yeah , definitely for the price , I ’ d look long and hard at the Continental GT . If you are wanting a LAMS motorcycle with that cool look and classic vibe , again , it deserves your attention . Bang for buck-wise , it ’ s a contender . And the fact that it isn ’ t everyone ’ s cup of Earl Grey tea is absolutely fine . For those who love the Royal Enfield look , but want more , I ’ ll be tracking down a few builds over winter where the owners have delved a little deeper into the potential of the Royal Enfield Continental GT .
