ULYSSES CLUB ANNOUNCES 2021 FOUR + POINTS RALLY

T he Ulysses Club of New Zealand has announced the biannual Four Points Rally will make its return this year after being cancelled last year due to Covid-19 complications . The Rally is one part compass ride , one part poker run with cash prizes up for grabs . Riders are encouraged to ride out to five specific pre-arranged points around the North Island ( from Houhora in the North to Lake Ferry in the South ) to collect their hand of cards . The final cards being dealt on October 30 during the prizegiving function in Bunnythorpe , near Palmerston North , at which a final card is physically dealt . Riders have to be at the prizegiving to be in to win . In total three cash prizes will be on offer , plus spot prizes with the scale of the cash prizes will be determined by entry numbers since the event is a non-profit affair . If this sounds like a bit of fun for you ( and why wouldn ’ t it ? It ’ s a great excuse to get out and ride the North Island ) entry is $ 40 per rider and is payable to the organisers at the Ulysses Club Manawatu Branch .
