I kept it on track and won day one by 56 seconds
and took out the win on day two by eight minutes.
After three greatly challenging days I was really
pleased to take out the win for the Bronze Class.
These enduros are really challenging and make
you want to get up the next day and compete
in whatever is coming your way. You never know
what is going to be round the next corner, it could
be rocks, tyres, hills, streams and more. I’d like to
thank Sean and Adele Clarke for organising the
event, my dad for helping me with my bike, my
sponsors Shaws Wire Ropes, Repsol and everyone
else who makes these rides possible. I’m looking
forward to the Nutbuster Hard Enduro down in
Christchurch where I’ll be trying out the Silver Class.
