RD400E WANTED
I’m writing to you as a mad Yamaha RD400 fan.
I currently have a couple including a 1976 C model
that I bought back in 1979, in my sixth form year.
It’s in pretty good original condition and puts a
smile on my face every time I’m in the man cave
and reflect on great times long ago with mates,
bikes and carefree times. I would dearly love to
own a 1978 E model, which way, way back then
was too much money for a skinny high school
boy, who earned $25 per week packing groceries
and delivering newspapers to pay bike payments
and petrol for a very thirsty two-stroke.
If any of your readers know of a Yamaha
RD400E in any condition or in bits, I would
love to hear from them. SIMON NAISBITT
