PRODUCT REVIEW
secure mounting point after that close call . I ’ m a fan of the huge field of vision the design achieves with the chinbar in place , and it ’ s even better with it removed . Talking of vision , to keep the glare down there ’ s a sun visor that comes down with the push of a sliding button on the side of the helmet . It cuts out the glare well and doesn ’ t distort your vision , so job jobbed . It then pops back up with a push of a button . Well ... it did . After hundreds of kilometres in the dust of a group gravel ride it now needs a bit of a nudge to retract . I ’ m sure a blow of compressed air would sort it , but that ’ s where I ’ m at right now . If the field of vision is a bit large and there ’ s too much dust on your gravel ride , then you ’ ll be pleased to know that a goggle as large as the Oakley Airbrake will fit without removing the visor , which is quite impressive ! I wear contact lenses so this is a big plus for me . All in all , I think Nolan ’ s adventure offering is a hit . I ’ ve thoroughly enjoyed wearing it , even on long back-to-back days . It ’ s comfortable , not too noisy ( although earplugs are always a must for me ), has a great set of features and it won ’ t break the bank . Recommended .
