who probably wouldn ’ t normally - using the experience of riding , and planning rides , with people who will listen and support each other without fear of ridicule , or being ‘ measured ’ in any competitive fashion . Every Sunday we meet , and there may be one big ride or several different rides to go on , there are no rules except to “ Turn up , Gassed up ”, with a safe bike that won ’ t cause issues for others , and be prepared to listen , learn , laugh and love . It is frequency and familiarity that creates bonds , and it has become a sort of Sunday school or Marae for many , with increasing importance and value for members who say things like ; “ Belonging breeds courage , I know people have my back even when I ’ m alone .”
