P erhaps the first thing to know about ESMC , the Every Sunday Motorcycle Collective , is that it ’ s a growing and developing organism . What it is not , is a brand-based motorcycle gang . In fact , ESMC is distinctly brand agnostic . No judgement is made on which motorcycle you choose to ride , excepting scooters and smaller motorbikes that cannot travel any great distance . There are a number of slogans and badges that help delineate ESMC ; “ The Biker not the Bike ”, “ Whanau , deeds and detours ”, “ Mates need bear hugs not beer jugs ”, “ Bonded by Bikes ”, “ Never tolerate Hate ”, Never leave a Mate ”, and others . These are not idle ideas , but rather the genesis and ideology behind the ESMC .

ESMC believes that people - particularly men - can connect , share and grow by forming authentic mateship around motorbikes and motorcycling . ESMC is helping men build bonds through motorbikes by curating opportunities for people to get together more frequently , and have a reason to rise and ride together every Sunday ( or any other day of the week ). It ’ s all about camaraderie on and off the road .
EVERY WALK OF LIFE It ’ s a community of bike riders who began trying to be better men , riders , and members of society , not by religious or dogmatic teaching , but simply by being great role models for other riders . Although a little left-leaning , politics is not a tenet , instead being non-judgemental
