It ’ s official . Hard Enduro icon Graham Jarvis is officially heading to Aotearoa in 2023 ! Fresh from finishing the 2022 Hard Enduro World Championship in third place at 47 years old and riding as a factory-backed privateer , Jarvis will be heading to New Zealand in March of 2023 for a series of “ A Day With Graham Jarvis ” events . Here Kiwi riders can spend a full day riding and absorbing the hard-fought knowledge of arguably the greatest enduro rider of all time . Getting Graham to our shores is thanks to extensive work behind the scenes by Grant and Doug Herbert , who are organising the series of events which span the length of the country with the former Husqvarna factory rider . Grant , who spent two days training with Jarvis prior to this year ’ s running of Red Bull Romaniacs , broke the ice about Jarvis possibly coming to New Zealand , while Doug has put in the hard yards at home to develop a plan to put regular Kiwi riders on the same dirt as Graham . That ’ s not to say we don ’ t have some top- notch talent of our own ( the likes of Ben Townley and Chris Birch are just two of many who immediately come to mind ), but none currently compete at the very highest level on a regular basis as Jarvis does .
