VESPA GTS GETS 2023 MAKEOVER
Vespa has decided to give its flagship model a makeover with the 2023 GTS , just four years after the last model refresh . Vespa hasn ’ t been sitting on its hands sipping coffee for that time , though , and the 2023 GTS is set to raise the bar . For 2023 the GTS gets four model trims ; the classic and super elegant Vespa GTS , the contemporary GTS Super , the sporty GTS SuperSport , and the tech heavy Vespa GTS SuperTech . As always the bodywork is made from steel , which Vespa likes to point out is fully recyclable as well as being more structurally sound than plastic , which we guess is right even if talking about scrapping your new bike is a bit odd when you ’ re trying to sell them . Anyway , in terms of updates , the 2023 Vespa GTS range benefits from a new front suspension system which , while maintaining the traditional singe-arm layout , has been redesigned to offer more stability at high speeds as well as to improve comfort and handling . The GTS also gains a new seat with refined ergonomics to keep riding pleasurable while in practical terms Vespa has added a keyless ignition system . Instead of just being able to turn the GTS on , however , the keyless system on the GTS can also remotely open the seat and lock the steering column as well . In keeping with its name , the SuperTech adds even more tech with a full colour TFT display which can make the most of the Vespa MIA connectivity system .
